For the past 18 years, it has been a joy to support our Family Village Nurse‑Family Partnership (NFP) team of dedicated nurses — including Christina Baker, pictured above with an NFP family. Our nurses enroll pregnant individuals and walk alongside them through toddlerhood, offering education, resources, and steady guidance during one of the most transformative periods in a child’s life.

Throughout the perinatal period, our team screens for potential medical concerns and supports new parents with breastfeeding, navigating the healthcare system, self advocacy, positive parenting, and setting meaningful goals for their family’s future. Our nurses choose this work because they see the difference they make every single day. They believe that only a small change is necessary to make a big impact and every family deserves the tools and resources essential for health and wellbeing.

The Family Village includes social workers, doulas, community health workers, fatherhood case managers, nutritionists, bilingual staff, housing specialists and more. My co-workers are an amazing group of individuals who inspire me every day with their dedication and compassion for others. Please help us to do more to wrap families with everything they need to get off to a great start.
