The Ellen Salome Memorial Fund was established in May 2025 just a month after Ellen died of cardiac arrest. She was in Summer Stage when she learned she was dying of severe heart failure. Ellen received her heart 19 days after her hospital admission to save her life.
Ellen was a 15-year-old, pediatric heart transplant survivor for over 5 years. She lived an amazing life, not without challenges, fears and adventures. She was an All-American Cheer Athlete, a young Producer, Golfer and her passion was Theater and Cosmetology! Ellen was a leader, a mentor and a friend. She included everyone as best as she could. Her cats brought her great joy!
Theater Camp is a GIFT! The kids gain life skills and relationships that are priceless. They feel welcomed, loved and confident. Theater Camps teach kids all that goes into creating a performance and then share their talents and joy with the community.
