Teachers' Teammates

This is one problem that can be solved. All students and classrooms need school supplies to achieve success in their education. Our model of operation converts every $1 donated into $5 in supplies distributed to students and educators who need them most. Teachers' Teammates is the only year-round teacher resource center in southeast PA.

Teachers’ Teammates is a nonprofit organization that solicits, collects and distributes donated school supplies so educators in under-resourced schools in Delaware County can have the tools they need to help their students thrive.

Built by former educators and parents, Teachers’ Teammates recognizes teachers must reach into their own wallets far too often to fill basic classroom needs. We connect teachers with free supplies to help close the resource gap.

Our members “shop” for free in our online store four times a year for thousands of dollars’ worth of donated items, helping us deliver nearly $4 million of new or gently used supplies to local classrooms. Donations to Teachers’ Teammates also help our environment by keeping otherwise unwanted items out of the waste stream. 

Teachers’ Teammates is sustained by donations, grants and an ever-growing corps of volunteers and partnerships with local businesses, faith communities and civic organizations. Many of our volunteers are students or individuals from the communities we serve that have a wide range of abilities and develop life and work readiness skills by executing many of the operations at our warehouse in Folcroft.  We are proud to bring together the many segments of our community to sustainably support our students and teachers.
