🎨 Lansdowne is becoming an arts destination. The Arts Committee is making it happen.

Building on decades of arts programming in the borough, the LEDC Arts Committee launched in 2023 with a clear vision: that creativity belongs in the fabric of daily life, and that every resident — regardless of background or ability — deserves access to rich, diverse artistic experiences that reflect and celebrate their community.

Their work spans the borough and beyond: 20*20 House, our gallery and events venue centering underrepresented voices with rotating exhibitions and community programming; Kiosk Gallery, an accessible street-level gallery open Wednesday through Saturday; Arts on the Avenue, our 23-year annual outdoor festival drawing 50+ artists and thousands of neighbors each May; A Bit of the Arts, an intimate two-day winter market held each November in the historic 20th Century Club; Open Open Open, a walkable one-night arts event bringing Lansdowne's creative spaces to life all at once; and a growing Community Artist Directory connecting residents with the artists who live and work among them.

"Vending at LEDC events gave me so many connections with queer folks who were drawn to my art, and as a trans and queer person, this was invaluable. Every event had a great vibe — fun and welcoming. LEDC is really creating spaces that are accessible and uplifting to the wider community." — Hannah, artist vendor

Your gift supports the Arts Committee's work to expand free and family-friendly programming — classes, events, and experiences that make Lansdowne's creative community something everyone can be part of.
