Funds!  MCFS is in need of general operating funds tosupport the follo
wing high priority projects:Support for Peggy

s Place!  MCFS is renovating a property in Upper Darbythat will provide
temporary safe housing for seniors at risk ofhomelessness.  Peg
gy's place will be a residence where seniors willreceive home healt
h services and social supports to secure permanent affordablehousing.  Grant fu
nding has provided for bedroom and bathroom renovations,however the first
floor remains in need a major repairs.  Your supportwill help MCFS ren
ovate and repair the home in preparation for senior residentsin need.Accessible
Office

Space!  We’ve been cash flow planning as part of ourstrategic plan, an
d it’s time to be rent free. MCFS has secured i
t’s own office building, and the team is almost fullymoved in, however
we need to complete some renovations move in the rest of theteam and ensure ac
cessibility for the community.  We have grant funding to support largeraccessibility proj
ects like our entry ramp and ADA compliant bathrooms on thefirst floor, howev
er we need to raise $10,000 to complete renovations thatallow the full tea
m to be accommodated in the new space, offer all servicesfrom the new locat
ion, which increases our economical efficiency and alleviatesthe need for renta

labashFood Pantry!  With
the increased costs of food, MCF is ingreat need of fund
s to continue providing culturally specific foods to thelarge immigrant po
pulation in need. The Calabash Food Pantry provides freshproduce through it
s partnership with Philabundance, an array of culturallyspecific food stap
les, as well as personal hygiene products for over 250families weekly.@f
