Upper Darby Township & Sellers Memorial Free Public Library

A nonprofit organization

Welcome to Upper Darby and Sellers Memorial Free Public Library!

For almost 100 years, the three branches of the Upper Darby Libraries have been serving the community by providing access to books, materials, and programs to support lifelong education, personal growth, and creativity.

In 2025 we welcomed 149,330 visitors through our doors. We had over 24,000 public internet computer sessions. Over 4,000 children (ages 0-11) attended library programs and we had over 190,000 physical and electronic materials checked out of our libraries.

We are open 52 weeks a year and during that time we provide the following services to our community and many more not listed:

  • Free access to computers, printers and fax machines to help with job searches, resumes and printing needs
  • Free programming for children and teens ages 0-17 along with access to books, digital materials, video games, board games and more
  • Free passes to many of the museums and parks in our area
  • Technology help and support along with educational classes for adults

With your support we can continue to expand our services and grow with the needs of our community for the next 100 years. Supporting us through Delco Gives allows us to raise additional funds for library programming, digital materials and updated resources. Please help us continue our mission to serve the community without exception.
