Shevlin was established in 2015 by a Delaware County family who understands firsthand the challenges substance use disorder can bring to individuals and those who love them. Motivated by personal experience and a commitment to helping others, the Shevlin family created the organization to support recovery in ways that are practical, compassionate, and grounded in dignity.
Today, Shevlin works to strengthen the recovery community by supporting individuals rebuilding their lives and families navigating the path alongside them.
Early Recovery Support
Recovery from substance use disorder is a journey that takes courage, commitment, and support every step of the way. In the earliest stages, when stability and guidance matter most, Shevlin’s First Help Program is there.
By providing housing support, essential resources, and compassionate guidance, Shevlin helps bridge the gap between early treatment and long-term recovery. We walk alongside each person on their path, wherever it may lead.

Family Support
For every person on a recovery journey, there is a circle of loved ones walking beside them. Substance use disorder affects each of them differently, and every one of them deserves support. Shevlin is here to meet those unique needs with care, understanding, and connection. You are not alone. Together, we can continue the path forward.
