Be inspired at the Haverford Township Free Library! 

The Haverford Township Free Library opened the doors of its newly renovated and expanded building on May 22, 2025. As part of this essential revitalization, the Library now features a versatile MakerSpace promoting innovation and community engagement. 

The MakerSpace is a creative space that offers a wide variety of cutting-edge and traditional equipment and tools, as well as classes and programs for guided exploration.

The MakerSpace provides:

- regular programming for children and teens that promote digital and analog skills, build STEM thinking and problem-solving and inspires creativity for makers of all ages

- access to high quality, professional grade computer hardware, software, and equipment to support their personal, educational, and creative endeavors

- a space for groups to learn together about art, technology and using the equipment by building a program tailored to a group's interests and abilities

- connection across ages, disciplines and interests. The MakerSpace is building a community of makers that will continue to enrich and improve our town.
