Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery and Delaware Counties

At Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery and Delaware Counties (Habitat MontDelco), we bring people together to build homes, community, and hope. The nonprofit sells newly constructed or renovated homes to qualified families and individuals who live or work in Montgomery or Delaware Counties and meet the program qualifications. Our homebuyers purchase their homes with affordable mortgages and pay taxes on the full values of their homes.

Everyone knows about our home building program, but Habitat MontDelco does much more! Did you know we assist eligible individuals and families who have difficulty maintaining their homes or have sustained damage to their homes? Through our home repair program, we assist individuals and families to remain in their homes by providing requisite repair to ensure people's health and safety.

For this fiscal year in Delaware County alone, we have: 

• 37 Critical Home Repair projects have been completed 


• 16 additional projects are currently in progress 


• Our goal is to complete 60-65 homes by the end of this fiscal year 


• We've already invested over $930,000 into Delaware County communities
