DELCO Food Project

A nonprofit organization

Our non-profit food pantry
program, The DELCO Food Project, is a ministry of Imago Dei (Metropolitan
Community Church) renting space at St. Timothy's Lutheran Church on Pennell Road in Aston, PA. Our food pantry is blessed to distribute state provided and donated food to anyone who comes to our doors every Thursday.
We also provide a free community dinner twice a month for our community.  Since 2020, our goal is to go beyond filling
the needs of families that experiences food insecurities, but to provide compassion
and nutrition to help all of our neighbors. With our partners: Share Food Program, Boy Scouts of America and Small Things Philly we were able to help thousands of people. In 2024 we provided over 10,000 fry food bags to over 9,700 cars that came to us for food.  We served close to 1,000 people a sit-down Sunday Supper. With the local support from Giant, Wegmans and Philly Food Rescue we were able to provide: fresh fruit, breads, prepared fresh foods and vegetables to provide even more nutrition to our community.
