Centro de Apoyo Comunitario

Centro de Apoyo Comunitario (CAC) has been operating for more than 20 years. It was established by Latin American women who wanted to create a safe space for immigrants to seek support and obtain accurate information. Centro's board, staff, and volunteers consist of more than ninety percent immigrants themselves, which demonstrate our community values of collaboration and empowerment. We offer various services, including a welcoming orientation, legal and medical referrals, advocacy and case management, and assistance with navigating the new community through our highly trained promoter team. Additionally, Centro conducts monthly community workshops to provide essential information on topics that the community needs. Centro is the primary source of emergency support for over 1800 community members and we take seriously our need to help folks with the support they need during this time of increased separation from their loved ones.
