Spotlight Theatre

Spotlight Theatre Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3), Pennsylvania non-profit corporation. We are a volunteer run, community theater organization, whose mission is to make the experience of live theater accessible to all ages, by attendance or participation.  We have been based in Delaware County for 85 years.  None of our board members receive any compensation for their activities supporting the mission of Spotlight Theatre Inc. 

Located in Lansdowne Borough's Twentieth Century Club, Spotlight Theatre currently produces four plays, a holiday show and one musical fundraiser during our season, which runs from September to June. The plays are a mix of comedy, drama, musical and children’s shows.  We hold open auditions and encourage all members of the community to participate by either performing or helping produce our shows.  All Spotlight board members maintain current, PA volunteer clearances for criminal background and child abuse history reports.  Spotlight Theatre Inc. also carries General Commercial Liability Insurance with United States Liability Insurance Company.
