Friends of the Ridley Park Library

A nonprofit organization

The Friends of the Ridley Park Library work to support Delaware County’s only Carnegie Library.  We raise crucial funds to support the library’s diverse range of programs and services which enrich our community. By donating, you help sustain and grow these valuable initiatives. Your generosity keeps our library welcoming and full of opportunities for our community to learn, create, and connect. Every contribution, big or small, helps us continue offering meaningful programs and improving our shared library space.

Last year, more than 29,500 materials were borrowed from the library, and more than 1,850 people of all ages took part in the library’s wide range of activities. With your generous donation, we will continue to support programs such as:

  • Storytime and STEAM Club: Nurturing young readers and encouraging an interest in the sciences

  • Adult Programs: Writers’ Group, Book Club, Cookbook Club, and Coffee and Creativity

  • Seasonal Events: Ridley Park Reads, Magical Mayhem Halloween Party, Storytime with Mrs. Claus, author visits

  • Essential Services: Mobile hotspots, museum passes, assistance with tax preparation

  • Pending Improvements: Mobile Pick-up locker, internal and external building improvements.
