A child sits in a classroom, overwhelmed by emotions they don’t yet have words for. A parent waits—hoping for answers—after months or years of watching their child struggle. A chronically mentally ill adult dreams of living independently but lacks the support to make it possible. Families navigate in silence, unsure where to turn—or how to afford the help they need.

For 70 years, Child Guidance Resource Centers (CGRC) has stood with children and families to remind them -- you are not alone.  We meet families right where they are - at school, in their home, or in their community where understanding grows and hope returns.

We strive to create a community where mental health care is accessible to every child, every family, and every individual—regardless of ability to pay.  Where stigma gives way to compassion and no one struggles alone. But as government funding shrinks and needs grow, the gap widens.
