Chester Ridley Crum Watersheds Association (CRC)

Water runs everywhere. We believe that improving water elevates all areas of life.

What is a watershed? A watershed is an area of land that drains into a specific body of water. By caring for the land, we care for the water that runs through it.

CRC's mission is to protect, conserve, and restore the natural resources of the Chester, Ridley, and Crum Creek Watersheds. CRC works with our volunteers to plant trees, remove tens of thousands of pounds of trash every year during our streams clean-ups, and educate the community about these wonderful creeks which flow through the heart of Delaware County. 

According to the PA Dept. of Environmental Protection, over 95% of streams in the Chester, Ridley, and Crum Creek Watersheds are considered impaired, meaning our local waterways fail to meet one or more water quality standards. Together, we can change this.
