Bethel Township Hose Company No. 1 proudly serves our community with a team of dedicated volunteers responding to fires, vehicle accidents, and emergencies every day.

One of the most critical parts of our job is vehicle rescue. When serious accidents occur, victims are often trapped inside their vehicles and rely on us to free them quickly and safely. The tools we use in these situations are not optional—they are essential to saving lives.

Our current rescue tools are aging and becoming obsolete. As vehicles continue to evolve with stronger construction and new materials, older equipment becomes less effective and can slow down rescue efforts. In emergency situations where seconds matter, delays can have serious consequences.

We are working to replace our outdated hydraulic rescue tools with modern, battery powered equipment that is faster, more reliable, and better suited for today’s vehicles. These tools allow our firefighters to operate more efficiently and get to victims quicker when it matters most.

This is not an upgrade; it is a necessary replacement to ensure we can continue to provide the level of service our community depends on.
