Valley Forge Chorus

Valley Forge Chorus (VFC) is a premier women’s a cappella ensemble. While we rehearse in Delaware County, our influence is felt throughout the greater Philadelphia area. As a volunteer, nonprofit organization, our mission is to promote and preserve the art of singing barbershop harmony through education, performance, and competition in an inclusive and welcoming environment. We take pride in spreading joy by entertaining and educating audiences with our unique sound, dazzling costumes, and innovative choreography.

VFC is an affiliate chapter of Sweet Adelines International (SAI), a 501(c)(3) educational organization, the largest women’s singing organization in the world. For more than six decades, VFC has been a competitive chorus, with two international gold medals, several top-5 international medals, and dozens of regional medals to its name.

In 2025 we were honored with a commendation from the PA House of Representatives to mark our 60th anniversary. We regularly perform at charity, sporting, assisted living, and community events, bringing harmony to a broad and varied audience. We also offer free music education to our members and guests interested in learning about singing barbershop music. We foster individual skills, nurture personal growth, and provide education and mentoring to develop strong, effective leaders on and off the stage
