Pennsylvania SPCA's Animal Law Enforcement

The Pennsylvania SPCA is dedicated to protecting animals, preventing cruelty, and improving the lives of pets and the people who care for them. Every day, our team steps in where the need is greatest—responding to cruelty investigations, providing lifesaving medical care, and creating pathways to adoption for animals with nowhere else to go.

Our work spans far beyond sheltering. Through our Animal Law Enforcement team, we rescue animals from neglect and abuse and ensure they receive the care they deserve. In our Shelter Hospital, veterinary staff treat thousands of animals each year, including those who are sick, injured, or in critical condition. We also support pet owners in the community with access to affordable veterinary services, helping keep families together and preventing unnecessary surrender.
