We have called the Delaware County area home since 1979, when founder Kevin Nolan started painting houses as a Villanova student and built a business from the ground up. What began as a one-person operation has grown into one of the most recognized painting contractors in southeastern Pennsylvania — and our reputation has been built almost entirely on word of mouth and neighbor-to-neighbor trust. That connection to community isn't incidental to who we are; it's central to it. Through our "Nolan in the Neighborhood" initiative, we committed $1 million to local organizations and nonprofits over ten years — a goal we met by the end of 2024 — and we've renewed that commitment with a second $1 million pledge for the decade ahead. We sponsor and attend road races, concerts, festivals, and sporting events across Delaware County and beyond, with our entire team involved: employees earn time toward vacation when they participate in company-sponsored community events. We donate labor, collect and redistribute old paint for organizations like Habitat for Humanity, and maintain the Pennsy Trail in Havertown. Giving back isn't a line item for us — it's how we do business.
We're proud to be back as a Delco Gives Prize Sponsor for the third year. Delco Gives reflects the same belief that drives everything we do: that when a community invests in itself, everyone benefits. By participating again this year, we are proud to help make it possible for nonprofits across the county to compete for additional recognition and dollars for Delco Gives.
