Folcroft Reads, Folcroft Rises

Since 2024, our library has expanded its children and adult programming. Our calendar is full of fun, educational events. This summer we are launching STEM and reading activities as well as a healthy free lunch program. We support Delcroft Elementary School with on-site library card applications and field trips. Local high schoolers volunteer for community service. Adults visit to study and host online meetings. We are delivering much-needed art classes. And our new teen advisory board is clamoring for new books. Recently, reduced funding has led to our closing our doors early. We cannot do all the things Folcroft needs without Folcroft's support. 

Every neighborhood needs a library. Brick by brick, book by book, Folcroft built this library by hand in 1940. Folcroft Public Library is more than a building that holds books. We are a place that holds our community together. Every story time is an investment in a child’s future. Every resume printed is a step toward empowerment. Every online search is equity in action. Supporting Folcroft Reads, Folcroft Rises creates the public library Folcroft needs now.
