Middletown Fire Company

For more than a century, Middletown Fire Company No. 1 has answered the call when our neighbors need us most. We're an all-volunteer company serving the 20,000 residents of Middletown Township across 13.5 square miles of Delaware County — providing fire protection, fire prevention education, and emergency medical services alongside our sister company, Rocky Run Fire Company. Our station at 425 S. New Middletown Road responds to calls day and night, every day of the year.

Our roots run deep. What started with ten red buckets and a small group of neighbors gathered around William Borton's woodpile has grown into a fully certified rescue company — and in 2013, we were the first fire company in Delaware County to earn the Pennsylvania Department of Health's Voluntary Rescue Service Recognition. We're proud of that legacy, and we're just as proud of the firefighters, EMTs, and junior members (14 and up) who keep showing up to carry it forward.

But we can't do it alone. Gear wears out. Apparatus gets older. Training is constant. Every dollar raised through Delco Gives goes directly toward the tools, equipment, and training that keep our members safe and our community protected.
