For 27 years, the Lansdowne Economic Development Corporation (LEDC) has proven that arts and culture are economic engines — not just amenities. We connect people, place, and opportunity to build a human-based local economy in Lansdowne, PA.

In 2025 alone, LEDC delivered 188 public programs reaching 10,000+ people, engaged 216 artists, supported 375 local small businesses, and generated an estimated $828,000 in local economic impact — drawing participants from across Delaware County and beyond.

At the heart of it all is Utility Works, our 7,500 sq. ft. creative hub on Baltimore Ave. housing 23 artist studios, a MakerSpace, and a community ceramics studio. Open to residents throughout the county, Utility Works is where Lansdowne's creative economy becomes a regional resource — offering low-cost equipment access, sliding-scale workshops, and fellowships for emerging makers ages 18–25. 

We also run the Lansdowne Farmers Market, a weekly summer gathering with live music and local vendors; 20*20 House, our gallery curated to center underrepresented voices; and Arts on the Avenue, our 23-year annual festival celebrating local artists and makers. Over half of our programs are free or offered on a sliding scale.
