Free Mom Hugs

Free Mom Hugs is a national nonprofit whose mission is to empower the world to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community through visibility, education, and conversation. We attend Pride and community events, sharing the message that all people deserve to be loved and accepted for who they are. We offer physical hugs to those that would like them as well as portable hugs in the form of love-to-go (pompoms, stickers, flags, and more).  Though our hugs are free, event registration fees, giveaways, candy distributed at parades, care packages sent to school GSA’s, and decorations all cost money. Our Delaware County volunteers participated in over fifty events last year and are on track to exceed that number this year.  Our state volunteers are committed to sharing love at over 40 events in Pennsylvania this May and June with more to follow because we promote Pride throughout the year.
