Yachtstock Inc

MISSION STATEMENT-

Yachtstock, Inc. is a 501c3 organization with a special focus on families in financial need due to a child suffering from chronic or grave health issues. Over the 25+ years we have raised tens of thousands of dollars for struggling families and children organizations such as Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, The Childhood Cancer Program of Philadelphia and Shriners Childrens' Hospital in Philadelphia. Our main event is one of the area's largest outdoor, all-day music festival! It is due to the hard work of volunteers and the generosity of businesses that make it a success year after year!

OBJECTIVE-

Alleviating the financial pressure on families navigating thru medical bills, doctor/hospital appointments and needs for their ailing child has been our focus since our inception.  Our main fundraising event is the Yachtstock Riverjam and this year it will take place on September 12th at the West End Boat Club in Essington.  It takes teamwork and loyalty among volunteers to make this happen.  Over 20 talented bands play for free to a crowd of music lovers and dedicated volunteers join together to create a festival for the community.  Yachtstock is not just an entity. It is a diverse community of people with various talents, ages, and incomes that come together to offer hope to those less fortunate. The feeling that everyone shares when we reach our goal and a family is helped is priceless!
