Valley Youth House is the catalyst for youth to achieve their desired future through genuine relationships that support families, ensure safe places, and build community connections. We envision a world in which every young person belongs to a nurturing community. We are the sole organization in York with the mission to help homeless youth find housing and provide one-on-one mentorship to foster and non-foster youth.
Critical funds raised during Delco Gives will help provide stable housing and the critical life skills to young people in Delaware County that are homeless or experiencing housing instability after exiting the foster care system.
Programs in Delaware County Your Donation Supports:
• Supervised Independent Living (SIL): Youth ages 18-21 in foster care are supported in finding an apartment, signing a lease, and obtaining housing-related services.
• Transitional Age Bridge Program (TAY-Bridge): Provides housing assistance, case management, and supportive services to unstably housed or homeless youth ages 18-24 with a history of foster care.
