At the Swarthmore Centennial Foundation (SCF), we’re dedicated to strengthening our community today and for generations to come.

Each year, we award scholarships, recognize outstanding community members, support local organizations, and lead projects that enhance the places we all share. From Central Park to the train station clock, Gateway Park, and the Park Avenue Community Center, SCF has helped shape some of Swarthmore’s most beloved spaces.

This spring, we’ll unveil a new public restroom at Little Crum Creek Park and celebrate the renovation of the Swarthmore Veterans Memorial—made possible by donors like you.

In 2026, we will continue investing in our community, including upgrades to the AME Church community room and the Myers Avenue streetscape project to improve safety and walkability. After years of work led by the Centennial Foundation, the Borough has secured grant funding to move the Meyers Avenue project forward.
