Rachel Kohl Community Library

The Rachel Kohl Community Library is a non-profit library located in Glen Mills, PA.  The library primarily serves (5) municipalities, including Bethel Township, Chadds Ford Township, Chester Heights Borough, Concord Township and Thornbury Township. The Library has a main goal of supporting the community by providing books, information, educational resources,  and learning opportunities for all ages.  The Library circulates physical books, eBooks, and many other resources.  There are also many activities and programming for the entire family, including Storytime for kids, book clubs, crafting, and special events. The Rachel Kohl Community Library is more than just books - it's a community hub that provides people a place to study, meet, attend events, and connect people to local resources.

67% of our annual revenue to operate the Library come from Local Township, State, and County support. Most of the remaining funds come from patrons and supporters of the library, such as you!

We greatly appreciate any support you would like to give through Delco Gives, but most importantly please tell a friend that you support the library and would like them to also support!  

To give you an idea of where donations could go to support, below are some sample expenses and a few items we are saving up for!

For $10 you can show the library you appreciate their services and help fund future services

For $15 you can purchase a children's book for the library

For $25 you can purchase an adult book for the library

A few bigger items we are saving for:

-Upgrades to our electrical panel

-Industrial ceiling fans in our community room to help with the heating & cooling of the building.

-A new roof

-Upgrades to our circulation desk
