MISSION STATEMENT:

Empowering survivors of domestic violence including minorities and underrepresented communities, to break the cycle and rebuild their lives by providing counseling, advocacy, refuge, and education when it is needed the most.

We uplift survivors of domestic violence by offering a lifeline of hope and opportunity in many different languages. We believe in the strength of every survivor and the power of community to heal, grow, and thrive. Together, we nurture, amplify voices, and help dreams of new beginnings become a reality.

We are passionate about empowering women, men, & children who are survivors of domestic violence to recognize the signs of such abuse, understand their rights, and take action to leave those situations. Our objectives are 4-fold: 

C – Counseling. We are dedicated to ensuring that survivors receive the counseling and other supportive services that are often needed to dismantle the associated stigmas of shame and intimidation and help them to begin to move forward from abusive relationships. 

A – Advocacy. We are impassioned about raising awareness regarding the ramifications of domestic violence and the cultural aspects related to this issue within historically marginalized communities. 

R – Refuge. We want to offer safe shelter to individuals and families who are escaping abuse so that they can rebuild their lives in a supportive environment. 

E – Education. We are committed to providing survivors of abuse with information that will enable them to identify the signs of abuse in themselves and others, recognize how domestic violence affects them and their families, and understand their legal rights.
