About the Haverford Township Civic Council

The Haverford Township Civic Council (HTCC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to building community and enhancing the quality of life in Haverford Township. Our mission is to keep residents informed on local issues, foster a strong civic infrastructure of neighborhood groups and organizations, and advocate in the public interest.

We serve our community through four core roles: informing the public about community issues, advocating for local improvements, supporting member organizations, and promoting new initiatives. Through our Informed Citizen's Network Newsletter — reaching nearly 5,000 subscribers — we connect residents with the events, programs, and opportunities that shape life in Haverford Township.

HTCC also partners with grassroots programs including Haverford Tree Tenders, Hav-A-Rain Garden, Haverford Climate Action, and Friends of Haverford Trails — all working to make our township a greener, healthier, and more connected place to live.

We are an all-volunteer, board-led organization. Your support helps us continue this vital work for our neighbors and our community.
