Families CCAN

For the past eleven years Families CCAN has been enabling individuals with disabilities and their families to live supported, independent lives where they are fully included in the community. We offer a strengths-based approach that acknowledges that independence looks different for each person.

We provide programs, services, trainings and relationship-building opportunities to help bridge the gap as young adults leave school and as adults age and their needs change over time.  Most of our programs are free and offered virtually. Anyone can join from the comfort of their home!

We sponsor skill-building Workshops such as a unique, peer-led opportunity to learn about living in the community, with supports. Our on-line cooking program guides participants to make dinner in one hour, with the help of a trained instructor and a community of other cooks from around the region. 

Delco residents join our Delco Meet-ups (in person!) six times/year to share resources, make friends and do some joint community-service activities.

Each of our programs furthers our vision that all individuals with disabilities are welcomed neighbors, friends and colleagues, living and working in the community and valued for their contributions.   We encourage you to visit our website to learn more.
